This picture is so foretelling of most of my life. Let me explain, God has done an amazing work in my heart, if you knew me years ago you would also testify to this, he alone has done the work and deserves all the credit. He is my salvation, daily, he rescues me from me. I was born and raised in New York, I was driven, insanely driven, knock you OUT of my way driven, I chopped heads off if they couldn’t keep pace with me. INTENSE. My pace for life was unhealthy, my priorities were out of balance and I was living in my flesh quite honestly, through my own efforts and passions. I was using my gifts, not depending on God’s presence. Until, God, made me to lie down in green pastures, until God spoke so clearly to me that it stopped me dead in my tracks.

God told me: “It’s not what you do for me that matters most…it’s having a relationship with me”

Salvations is about REAL relationship and God is the only one who can take credit for it. Read these verses, let this picture reveal something to you now.

1 Corinthians 1:9 “ God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

 1 Corinthians 3:7: “It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.”

1 Corinthians 12:6: “ God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.”

Philippians 1:6 “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Philippians 2:13: “ For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Psalm 127:2: “ It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones”
